Sport Systems Education was established to help people understand how sport organisations really operate, not just on the pitch, but as complex systems shaped by finance, governance, strategy and decision-making.

Modern sport is no longer just performance-driven. Clubs and organisations operate within tightly managed financial frameworks, regulatory environments, and commercial pressures. Yet for many young people, exposure to these realities, and the wide range of careers that support them, remains limited.

Sport Systems Education was founded by a Chartered procurement and supply chain professional (MCIPS) with experience in commercial decision-making, risk management and organisational systems.

Alongside this professional background, the founder has academic experience, with a focus on how sport organisations operate within complex financial and governance environments.

This combination of industry experience and academic insight underpins the development of programmes that are both practically grounded and strategically informed.
